Gutter Systems

Your home’s roof gutter system shoulders a lot of responsibility. It’s integral that your gutter system is properly installed to ensure the optimal functionality of your roof. This is because your gutter system preserves the soil that’s built up around your foundation. It also prevents water from entering your attic or basement, effectively warding off.

Choosing New Gutters

If you need new gutters there are many options to choose from. We offer a variety of gutter-material choices that are integrated with the latest technologies and features to ensure longevity, durability, and performance.

  • Vinyl Gutters

Vinyl gutters are affordable, durable, and rust and corrosion resistant. With low maintenance requirements and great dent resistance, they’re an affordable choice for budget-conscious homeowners who live in storm-prone North Carolina. Vinyl gutters come in many colors and can be painted. You can expect vinyl gutters to last 10 to 20 years.

  • Aluminum Gutters

Aluminum gutters are lightweight, affordable, option that can be made from either recycled or “primary” aluminum. The recycled option is a great choice if you’re interested in an environmentally friendly option. However, the primary aluminum offers a higher degree of dent resistance, making them a better choice for weathering North Carolina hailstorms and standing up to heavy handling. We offer seamless aluminum gutters in addition to traditional seamed aluminum gutters, eliminating the opportunity for leaks. Aluminum gutters come in many colors, can be painted, and last up to 20 years.

  • Copper Gutters

High-end homes demand premium gutter systems, and for these homes, we recommend copper-gutter systems. First, copper is completely recyclable, making it a sustainable material to utilize in your home’s construction. Second, copper is naturally mold resistant and corrosion resistant, making it perfect for handling plenty of wet debris, soggy leaves, and rainwater with ease.

Copper gutter systems also look beautiful, adding character to your home and even increasing its resale value. They do not need any maintenance, as they will naturally take on a rich patina as they age. Because our copper gutters are seamlessly welded, there are no seems that require caulking, making them much more durable and long-lasting. Speaking of durability, copper gutters can last up to 100 years!
  • Galvanized-Steel Gutters

Galvanized-steel gutters are heavy duty and extremely tough, making them a great choice for homeowners who are looking for a more affordable option that is also very durable. However, because they are not rust resistant, they won’t last as long as copper gutters. Galvanized-steel gutters come in many colors, can be painted, and will last up to 20 years.

Gutter Options

We offer gutters in both five and six-inch depths and both K-style and half-round shapes. When choosing your gutters, consider whether you would like a particular color or would prefer to leave them natural and let them develop a patina overtime. Also, be aware that with the less sturdy options, you will not be able to lean a ladder directly against your gutters, which can make it more difficult to clean them out. Of course, if you have gutter guards on your gutters, you won’t need to worry about cleaning them out at all! Visit our Gutter Guards page to learn more.
